OMU can help light up the night around your home with the installation of a security light(s) on your property. OMU already installs and maintains street lights around Owensboro at no cost, but security lighting can help homeowners and businesses wanting additional lighting on their property.

Customers pay a monthly charge on their regular bill that includes electricity and maintenance. If the bulb needs replacing, the customer simply calls OMU and we'll repair it.

In most cases, OMU can install the light on an existing utility pole. If a new pole must be installed, there will be a one-time $200 charge.
